Rotary District Governor Gary Dills visited our club on Wednesday, November 2.  It was a great morning and his message to the club was informative and inspiring.  His message included the meaningful work of The Rotary Foundation – celebrating 100 years of doing good in the world. He encouraged members to attend the Rotary Foundation Dinner & 100th Birthday Party in Asheville on Saturday, November 12.  He cited the importance of growing membership in Rotary and encouraging those in our community to join with a commitment to Service above Self.  His message also included the importance of new ways of communicating to reach members, prospective members and our various audiences.   DG Gary shared information on the International Rotary Convention to be held in Atlanta in June 2017.  He looks for a large contingent from Rotary District 7670!  See you there!
