February Meeting Schedule – World Community Month
Member Rich Handschin is the Speaker Chair for February and has lined up a terrific program for this, World Community month:
February 7 – Club Assembly
February 14 – Valentine’s Day In-Meeting Service Project. The Club will put together ‘Welcome Kits’ for the children who are sheltered at The Haven. Plans are for Interim Director Emily Lowery of the Haven to be present and make a brief presentation on the children sheltered at The Haven.
February 21 – Retired General John Brown will speak about how the US Military endeavors to create World Community in its deployments around the world.
February 28 – Dr. Laura Leatherwood of Blue Ridge Community College will speak to the Club.
The public is always welcome to attend our breakfast meetings, listen to our guest speakers, and share a friendly, enjoyable, and delicious buffet breakfast at the Pisgah Fish Camp on Wednesday morning at 8:00 am.
